If it’s the day/night before the Regatta, it tells you how long it is before it starts. How do you know how long it is until the Regatta starts? Go to the dock and click on the regatta spot.
You can opt out anytime up to 8 hours before the regatta starts. It is simply not fair to everyone else to not complete tasks as it puts us at a huge disadvantage. So if we have 20 people in the co-op, but only 15 are participating, then we are matched against other groups of 15. When they are grouping co-ops for the regatta, they match the co-ops by the number of players participating that week. If you go two weeks without doing tasks or letting us know what is going on, we’ll assume you’ve likely quit the game or don’t want to participate in the co-op. If something comes up in real life or you just can’t get regatta tasks done for any reason, it is important that you opt out of the regatta for the week.
